Meet 20:30 at Jubilee Gate (OS map 150 : Grid ref : SO914736 ).

3rd July (Saturday) - Prees Heath Common Reserve heathland re-creation
Meet 14:00 on the access track off the A49 opposite the Steel Heath turning.
Guided walk around the reserve to see Silver-studded Blue and learn
more about the
heathland re-creation work being carried out by Butterly Conservation.

7th July (Wednesday) - Prees Heath Common Reserve work party
Meet 10:30 on the access track off the A49 opposite the Steel Heath turning.
Ragwort clearance by hand-pulling (gloves provided) and by using special forks.
Bring something to eat and drink.

10th July (Saturday) - (W3) Wyre Forest butterfly identification for beginners
The course takes place in the new Wyre Forest Discovery Centre in Callow Hill
Start 10:30, 'til around 16:00. The course follows the successful
format of last year with indoor and
outdoor sessions.

Joint event with South Staffordshire Naturalists at Baggeridge Country Park, near Wolverhampton
Meet at 10:30 in the main car park, next to the Ranger's office.

Meet 14:00 at Grafton Flyford church, just off the A422 Worcester/Stratford road. Grid Ref: SO963557
Target species: White Admiral and Silver-washed Fritillary
The walk will take about two hours, and refreshments will be available in the village hall afterwards.

Butterfly Conservation is teaming up with Marks and Spencer to launch the
biggest ever public butterfly and moth count to date.
You can join in and help us track butterflies and moths, so we know where they need our help the most.
Find a sunny spot in your garden, local park or other open space and spend 15 minutes counting butterflies and moths.

Morning's work clearing blackthorn, to benefit the Brown
Hairstreak, followed by
refreshments and afternoon walk.
Please be punctual as we shall be driving on to the work site.
